This is a professional cutting board. On an end grain cutting board, you’re actually cutting between the wood fibers. Instead of a face grain cutting board which cuts across the grain and dulls your knife quicker, and shows more cuts on the cutting board.
The finish on this board is a two step process.1) I soak the cutting board in food safe organic mineral oil. 2) I apply my very own Wood Conditioner. A ratio of Organic Mineral Oil that penetrates the wood, and White Beeswax that protect and gives that warm luster look. (Beeswax & Organic Mineral OIL...FOOD SAFE)
